Week 7 of The Way Through The Darkness

Week 7 of The Way Through The Darkness

It’s so good to have you back for the final week of our 7-week study and here’s the link to the free printable PDF document containing all seven weeks.

If you’re just joining us, I strongly recommend you start with Week 1 HERE.  I included some helpful study hints in the Week 1 post that I haven’t repeated since then in order to keep these posts as short as possible.  I value your time and I don’t want to take more than necessary so you have more time to sit at Jesus’ feet.  (You may click the link HERE to go to my series of posts on discovering what it means to sit at His feet.)

Week 7: Serving Unselfishly

Brief Thought for the Week:

Are you ready?  In John 14:1-3, Jesus tells his disciples,

Let not your hearts be troubled. Believe in God; believe also in me. In my Father’s house are many rooms. If it were not so, would I have told you that I go to prepare a place for you? And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and will take you to myself, that where I am you may be also.

Jesus is coming again!

We do not know when we will die (Luke 12:20) nor the exact day or hour when Jesus will come for all believers (Mark 13:32-33), but in 1 Thessalonians 4:16-18 we are told we will meet Him in the air:

For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of an archangel, and with the trumpet of God. And the dead in Christ will rise first. Then we who are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And thus we shall always be with the Lord. Therefore comfort one another with these words.

So, I ask the question again, are you ready?  How do we know who is ready and who is not?  Well, that’s the next topic we’re going to explore together!  I’m really looking forward to it.

But first, we’re going to wrap up our current series with our final topic of Serving Unselfishly.
